Central Sterile Processing is the main supply artery for surgical and bronchoscopy/endoscopy procedure suites within the healthcare environment. Sterile processing requires zero downtime while meeting AAMI standards for instrument sterilization. From decontamination to sterile packaging, CPD/SPD department cart washers, rack washers, ultrasonic cleaners, sterilizers, and scope cleaning equipment are supported with a complex infrastructure including emergency power, purified water systems, clean steam, and sophisticated room airflow pressure controls.
The new central sterile project was completed over multiple phases, including the design for a mobile sterile processing trailer. The central sterile was expanded for operational efficiencies, new equipment, and serve the expanding operating and robotic services.
Build-out of 480,000 SF warehouse with new 8,000 SF central plant, and 6,000 SF expansion for hazardous material management. The facility house sterile materials and products with a precisely controlled environment meeting the FDA’s regulatory compliance standard 21 CFR 820 for medical device manufacturing and storage.
Commissioning agent for a 12,000 SF renovation and redevelopment of the hospital Central Sterile Supply department including environmental HVAC, clean steam generation and purified water systems.
