Imaging Modalities are highly technical systems that require numerous conduits and interconnections. The unique infrastructure, typically made up by multiple systems requires a comprehensive understanding of the routing, spaces needs, and connections.
Our team identifies the critical design components to influence a positive design inclusive of the infrastructure.
Build-out of an existing shell space, the team had extensive coordination with the manufacturers. As the 3rd system in the country, we coordinated directly with the director of services and lead engineer to determine the equipment locations and operation intent.
New magnetoencephalography procedure room and 1,300 SF suite supporting the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital epilepsy program.
Buildout of the fifth interventional radiology room for Trinity Health Muskegon. Room designed for Siemens Artis Q biplane equipment.
Life cycle equipment replacement and room renovations to nine catheterization rooms at the Meijer Heart Center cardiovascular specialty center opened in 2004. Interventional radiology rooms setup for single plane and biplane procedures including stereotaxis.
New Siemens 1.5T MRI within existing shell space of the medical center for the new scan room, equipment room, and control room. Due to the sensitivity and importance of continued operation of the MRI, the MRI was connected to a critical branch transfer switch dedicated for modalities to ensure high power-quality.
